Twitter has deleted a tweet made by President Muhammadu Buhari which called for action against the Igbos citing the Civil War as an example of what could happen.

The tweet which was made on Tuesday after a press briefing with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) captured what Buhari said at the briefing.
Buhari was addressing the destruction of INEC offices and said, “Many of those misbehaving today are too young to be aware of the destruction and loss of lives that occurred during the Nigerian Civil War. Those of us in the fields for 30 months, who went through the war, will treat them in the language they understand.”

The tweet was taken down as it violated twitter rules and guidelines.
