Ijaw youths have on Thursday, stepped out in their hundreds to protest at the Niger Delta Development Commission Easter By-Pass in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State capital.

Over 700 of them dressed in the Ijaw Youths Council uniform hoisted their flags in front of the secretariat and prevented free flow of traffic in and out of the premises.
Their grievances, according to the Assistant Secretary of IYC, Eastern Zone, Ibiso Harry, was that the Federal Government was yet to constitute a substantive board for the NDDC.
