With the rapid increase in the death of persons affected by coronavirus, the Federal Ministry of Education Thursday, ordered the immediate closure of tertiary institutions, secondary and primary schools, as part of its measures to stem the spread of the deadly virus in the country.

Confirming the news to journalists, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Mr Sonny Echono, said confirmed a response to a text message sent to him.
