President Muhammadu Buhari is currently in a meeting with North-Eastern State Governors and Security Chiefs.
The meeting is ongoing at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
It is believed that the reason for this meeting is to address the insecurity plaguing the region.
In attendance are Vice President Yemi Osinbajo; National Security Adviser, Major General Babagana Monguno (retd.); and Chief of Staff, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari.

The governors in attendance are Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri; Babagana Zulum of Borno State; Bala Mohammed of Bauchi; Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe; Darius Ishaku of Taraba; and Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State.
Chief of Defence Staff, General Gabriel Olonisakin; Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Burarai; Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Ibok Ekwe Ibas; Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar; Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu; and the Director-General of the Department of State Services, Yusuf Buchi are also present.
