At least six people have been sent to their early graves by a female suicide bomber in Borno State.
The suicide bomber attacked a social gathering at the T Junction of Marrarraban Gwoza in Borno, killing six people and injuring several others.
The bomber, who was later identified as a young lady in her early twenties, detonated her explosive device in the middle of the gathering, causing chaos and destruction.
Also, intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that the victims, who were all civilians, were returning from a wedding celebration when the attack occurred near a busy motorpark.
However, emergency services rushed to the scene to rescue those injured and transport them to the hospitals in Gwoza.
Medical personnel in the hospital said at least six people were killed and 15 others injured in the attack.
