Singer Augustine Amedu Obiabo, better known as Blackface, has called for a reunion of the defunct music group Plantashun Boiz, which originally included 2Face and Faze.
In a recent Instagram post, Blackface urged his former bandmates to come together, emphasizing that “there’s strength in unity.”
He wrote, “Plantashun Boiz, the question now is to be or not to be and why? @fazealone @official2baba. My people, oya make una talk put mouth for this matter! We are on a mission for world peace and it’s not a small thing! Unity is strength and not division. Let’s go champs.”
Plantashun Boiz disbanded in 2004 after the release of their second album, Sold Out.
The group briefly reunited in 2007 for their third and final album, Plan B, before splitting again.
