Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas won the best original song award for their emotional Barbie ballad “What Was I Made For?” at the Golden Globe Awards.

Billie, who didn’t expect to win, thanked her brother and others, expressing gratitude for the song that helped her during a tough time.

She said: “It was exactly a year ago almost that we were shown the movie, and I was very, very miserable and depressed at the time.

“Writing that song kind of saved me a little bit,” she shared.

“A year later and here we are.

“It’s really surreal. I feel incredibly, incredibly lucky, incredibly lucky and grateful.”

Also, the singer acknowledged the stars in the room, saying they scared her and thanked everyone, calling the win surreal.

The winning song was nominated alongside tunes from the Barbie soundtrack by Dua Lipa and Ryan Gosling, among others.
