Big Brother Naija season 9 runner-up, Wanni, recently shared her perspective on why she feels like a winner despite not taking home the grand prize.
In a candid interview with Pulse, Wanni explained that her personal achievements during the show fulfilled all of her goals.
Also, this makes her feel victorious in her own right.
Wanni, along with her twin sister Handi, entered the BBNaija house as a pair, but their journey took a turn when the show’s organisers abolished the pairing system.
Handi was evicted shortly after, leaving Wanni to continue as a solo competitor.
Despite this setback, Wanni persevered and advanced to the grand finale.
However, she ultimately finished as the runner-up, with Kellyrae emerging as the winner.
Reflecting on her experience, she revealed that she feels like she won the show because she accomplished everything she had set out to achieve.
“For me, I feel like I won the show, because I achieved everything I went there for,” she said.
She explained that her objectives were not just about winning the title but about promoting her brand, personal growth, and forming meaningful friendships.
“I came to the show for three things: brand promotion, growth, and friendship,” she added.
