Housemates of the popular TV show Big Brother Naija always have a nick name that their fans use in differentiating one from the other.
It has however become customary for new housemates to find a name which their fans will be known and identified with.

The handler of the social media page of one of the Shine Ya Eye housemate, Liquorose stated that she’s having difficulties selecting a better name for the fan club and three names were selected to choose from which are RoseArmy, Aphrodites and Lion.
The handler upon consideration chose Lions as the fan club name and this has caused a stir among fans on social media.

“I have been seeing so many beautiful suggestions for our fanbase name, Rose Army, Aphrodites, etc, but Liquorose believes we are all more beautiful than rose and more superior than Aphrodites, so she wants us to identify as LIONS because we are Leaders in every area,”
As expected, fans of the housemate have shown displeasure over the name chosen for the fan club name.
