Board of Directors at FC Barcelona are currently holding a crucial meeting to decide the direction of the club ahead of next season.
Club President, Josep Maria Bartomeu is among those physically present at the club’s offices while some others joined in electronically.
Among the decisions to be taken are the date for a new board election, and the date of unpopular manager, Quique Setien.
Rumours have it that Setien has been earmarked for dismissal following a shameful 8-2 defeat at the hands of German champions, Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League.
It is believed that he will be relieved of his duties to allow Netherlands coach and former Barcelona defender, Ronald Koeman take the reins.
Koeman had been linked with the role for quite some time and even has a clause in his contract that allows him take over at Barcelona anytime they come calling.
The Dutch coach may be offered a two-year deal, but he reportedly wants three.
