Aston Villa are determined to keep hold of Boubacar Kamara and want to hand the midfielder a new contract amid interest from clubs across Europe.

Aston Villa have opened contract talks with Kamara and hope to extend his current deal that runs until 2027, according to Foot Mercato.
Unai Emery’s side are planning an “historic contract” for the midfielder after he attracted interest from “several very big clubs” ahead of the summer transfer window.
Villa are in the midst of an exciting season and have an FA Cup semi-final and a Champions League quarter-final against PSG to come.
Qualifying for Europe’s top club competition appears vital to Villa’s hopes of keeping hold of Kamara, as the 25-year-old has set that as one of his conditions if he is to continue at Villa Park.
Kamara was signed for Aston Villa in 2022 by then manager Steven Gerrard on a free transfer from Marseille.
