The event was attended by notable figures, including Grammy winner Wizkid and actor Idris Elba, who presented Asake with the silver plaque for “Work of Art.”

“Work of Art” marks Asake’s second album to receive a BRIT silver plaque, following his debut album, “Mr Money With The Vibes,” which also achieved silver certification in the UK.

Asake’s remarkable success in the United Kingdom is underscored by the fact that all three of his LPs have topped the UK Apple Music Album Chart, making him the only Nigerian artist to accomplish this feat.

His recent headline show at the O2 Arena further highlights his popularity in the UK, joining fellow Afrobeats stars Davido and Wizkid as artists who have sold out the venue multiple times.
