This accomplishment came as part of his world tour, launched after the release of his third album, ‘Lungu Boy.’

Asake’s tour saw him performing at prominent venues worldwide, with the O2 Arena being one of the highlights.

The event was star-studded, with notable figures such as Grammy-winning artist Wizkid and British actor Idris Elba in attendance.

During the concert, Elba presented Asake with a sold-out plaque and a BRIT silver plaque for his previous album; ‘Work of Art,’.

By selling out the 20,000-capacity O2 Arena, Asake joins the ranks of fellow Afrobeats icons Davido and Wizkid, who are among the few Nigerian artists to achieve multiple sell-outs at the iconic venue.
