Afrobeats sensation Asake unveiled his upcoming fourth studio album titled Money. The announcement was made via his official X account, where he simply posted: “#MONEY THE album. Love, $.”
This album marks a new beginning for Asake. After rising to fame under the YBNL Nation label, he recently took a bold step forward by launching his own label, Giran Republic.
Money will be the first major release under this new label, and fans are seeing it as more than just music.
Asake’s past projectsMr. Money With the Vibe (2022), Work of Art (2023), and Lungu Boy (2024) were all major hits.
Lungu Boy especially made waves, topping charts for 15 weeks and confirming Asake as one of the top names in the Afrobeats scene.
Though details about the new album are still under wraps no release date, no tracklist, no featured artistes announced the energy online is loud and clear.
Fans are expecting something fresh, something bigger, something bold.
Asake is known for his mix of Fuji, Amapiano, and Afrobeat sounds, and many are eager to see what new flavours he will add to Money.
