
Music stars Asake and Ayra Starr have been announced as headliners for HOT 97’s Summer Jam 2025, set to take place on 20 June at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
The highly anticipated concert, organised by New York’s premier Hip Hop station, will feature a star-studded lineup, including A Boogie, Gunna, GloRilla, Muni Long, Ja Rule and Friends: A Tribute to Irv Gotti, along with performances from Kash Doll, Bobby Konders & Jabba featuring Masicka, Jim Jones & Friends, Cash Cobain, 41 (Kyle Rich, Jenn Carter, Tata), and more.
Speaking about the event, Shelby Joyner, Founder of SJ Presents and President of The Black Promoters Collective, described Summer Jam as a key moment in Hip Hop culture.
“Summer Jam is the pinnacle of Hip Hop culture, and we’re honoured to bring this electrifying experience to fans once again. This year’s lineup is a testament to the genre’s evolution, featuring both chart-topping superstars and rising talent who are shaping the future of Hip Hop,” he said.
This marks another major festival appearance for Asake, who was recently confirmed as a headliner for the Yardland Festival in France.
He will share the stage with global stars, including American rapper Latto, Belgian rapper Hamza, and French hitmaker Tiakola.
