Tension between supporters of the All Progressives Congress and the African Democratic Congress in Ondo State, flared as they violently clashed at the Yaba Area of Ondo town in the state.

According to reports, the clash which began last night, left many people injured and no fewer than 15 vehicles vandalised.

The reason for the clash was unknown as of press time, but political tensions have been heated ahead if Saturday’s local government election in the state.
