In Africa, agriculture has been one of the cheapest or easiest way to become a millionaire. Nigeria in the early 60’s and 70’s made the bulk of it’s revenue and sustained it’s government from proceeds made from agriculture.
Agriculture or farming is the practice of cultivating plants and livestock. Agriculture was the key development in the rise of sedentary human civilization, whereby farming of domesticated species created food surpluses that enabled people to live in cities.
Agriculture is the art and science of cultivating the soil, growing crops and raising livestock. It includes the preparation of plant and animal products for people to use and their distribution to markets. Agriculture provides most of the world’s food and fabrics.
Not many know that with little agricultural skills, a level of diligence and a little creativity agriculture can be more productive and very rewarding.
Agriculture can make anybody rich if due diligence is adequately applied to hard work and this can on the long run remove Nigeria from the mess she is experiencing in terms of naira to dollar exchange rate and the fallen state of the economy.
