The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has announced the indefinite suspension of actress Halima Abubakar.

This follows an in-depth investigation into her alleged involvement in spreading defamatory content about fellow actors.

In an official statement, the AGN disclosed that their investigation found that Halima Abubakar was responsible for orchestrating and posting slanderous information targeting the Guild’s members, associates, and patrons online.

Also, the guild further alleged that she played a key role in spreading rumors.

This is particularly concerning extramarital affairs involving prominent individuals in society.

As a result of these findings, Halima will be required to appear before a disciplinary panel.

Her case will be reviewed, and further disciplinary actions will be determined.

During her suspension, she is prohibited from participating in any film projects or engaging in any industry-related activities.
