Nollywood actor, Emeka Nwagbarocha, has taken a swipe at Nigerians following the viral welcome party organised for controversial activist and social media figure, VeryDarkMan, after his recent release from police custody.
In a strongly worded post shared on social media platform, X, Emeka Nwagbarocha did not hold back his disappointment.
“We have a lot of foolish people per square meter in this country,” he said.
Though he didn’t mention names directly, the actor included a clip from the widely circulated welcome celebration for VeryDarkMan
This clearly indicates who his statement was aimed at.
VeryDarkMan is a controversial internet personality known for his outspoken commentary on Nigerian societal issues, politics, and celebrity culture.
However, his confrontational style has landed him in hot water several times, most recently leading to his arrest and detention over allegations of money laundering
VeryDarkMan’s legal run-ins have sparked both concern and support, depending on which side of public opinion you land on.
Following his release, a group of fans and supporters threw a celebratory welcome party for VeryDarkMan, complemented with balloons, music, and social media live streams.
