Amos Isah, the founder of the Prophetic Victory Voice of Fire Ministry in Gwagwaada, Abuja, is now in detention over allegations involving a 14-year-old girl.
He was arrested last week by the Federal Criminal Investigation Department (FCID).
His arrest has stunned the community, where Isah was widely known for his passionate preaching and strong moral teachings.
The church, located behind Noble Noel Academy and opposite the Gwagwalada Market, had attracted a sizable following.
Isah’s social media often featured posts promoting spiritual growth and righteous living.
His last appearance at the church was on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. A service held the following day took place in his absence.
According to reports, Isah allegedly misused his position to act inappropriately toward the minor.
FCID officials have confirmed the nature of the allegations, although direct communication with Isah has not been possible.
Some sources suggest that efforts may be underway behind the scenes to reduce public attention on the case.
Due to the sensitivity of the matter and Isah’s influence in the community, investigators are reportedly proceeding with caution.
