Abisola Ajimobi Kola-Daisi, the eldest daughter of the late former Governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi, has reportedly passed away at the age of 42.
According to online reports on Thursday, Abisola Ajimobi died in the early hours of the morning in the United Kingdom.
She was married to Kolapo Kola-Daisi until her passing.
Also, she served as the Special Adviser to the Minister of Budget and Planning, Atiku Bagudu.
The news of her demise was reportedly confirmed by Bolaji Tunji, the former Special Adviser to her late father, who addressed members of the press in Ibadan on Thursday.
Her brother also seemingly confirmed the sad news by posting the Islamic phrase,
“Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un” (which translates to “Verily, we belong to God, and to Him we shall return”) on his Instagram story.
When asked about the reports, Bolaji Tunji simply stated,
“Yes, it has been confirmed.
Her passing has sent shockwaves through political and social circles.
