The Governor of Abia State, Alex Otti, and his wife, Priscilla Otti, on Saturday, November 2, joined other voters at his polling unit in Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area to exercise his civic rights in the ongoing Local Government elections.
It was a busy Saturday in the state as voters trooped out to cast their votes.
At around 12:45 p.m, the governor stormed Unit 17, Ward 5 to cast his vote.
After voting, Otti expressed satisfaction with the smooth conduct of the election across the state.
Governor Otti commended the generally peaceful proceedings in the 4,062 polling units across Abia.

He acknowledged minor disturbances in Ohafia and Obingwa Local Government Areas, which security operatives quickly resolved.
He urged voters to vote base on credibility and effectiveness not party affiliations.
“If you want to continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy and see real performance, you need to vote for credible leaders, not just for a political party,” Otti said.
