It is like Peter Obi awakened a sleeping lion and Twitter is alive again.

Influencers and people who want to have their say or expressing their mind on the matter firing the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the just concluded 2023 elections.

Peter Obi, a man they had described as ‘a man of his words: Go and verify’, had once again proved to them that he is a man of his words, but that ‘Yes Daddy’ conversation with the founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, is still not sitting well.

The former Governor of Anambra State, on Monday night appeared in an interview with Arise Television.

During the said interview, Obi admitted phoning Oyedepo.

‘Not My Words’

The LP flagbearer, however, debunked describing the presidential election as a ‘religious war.’

He stresses that he did not at any time during his conversation with the cleric refer to the election as a religious war.

Obi maintains that he is not an ethnic/religious bigot, as he sponsors many Muslim residents in Onitsha on pilgrimages to Mecca in Saudi Arabia.
