What indeed happened in 2015 and 2016 has again repeated itself in 2020. Two aircrafts belonging to Middle East Airlines (MEA) and Turkish Airlines, respectively, have collided with each order at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) Lagos.
The incident according to eyewitness occurred when Middle East airplane was stfruggling to park on the apron while that of Turkish Airlines was trying to depart the airport.

Following the incident, the two aircraft were grounded by officials of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) in line with the safety protocols to assess their air worthiness.
No casualty or death was reported as at the time of filling this report.
