Chelsea and Arsenal played out a 1-1 draw in an evenly poised Premier League contest at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

Gabriel Martinelli had handed the visitors the lead at the hour mark but Pedro Neto scored the equaliser 10 minutes later to earn his team a crucial one point.

Rice, who featured in the game until the 71st minute when Mikel Merino replaced him, had a decent outing for the Gunners.

However, former United States men’s national team player and ESPN pundit Janusz Michallik claimed that Blues’ Caicedo had a better game than the England international and that the Ecuadorian ‘owned’ Rice in the midfield battle.

Speaking on ESPN after the game, Michallik said, “Moises Caicedo owned Declan Rice, he owned him in the first half.

“He dealt with him with a cigarette in his mouth.”
