Lauryn Goodman has addressed the rumours of a “divorce for cash” bid on the part of Annie Kilner, amid talk of a split from Man City’s Kyle Walker.
With defender Walker having fathered two children with his former mistress Goodman, there has been talk of his marriage to long-time partner Kilner breaking down.
If bridges cannot be repaired there, then a parting of ways may become inevitable.
It has been suggested that Kilner will seek to land around half of Walker’s supposed £27 million ($35m) fortune if they are to go their separate ways.
Inevitable questions have been asked of how Goodman will feel about that, with one follower on social media quizzing the ex-Love Island star on whether Kilner is seeking to ensure that her kids “don’t get any money”.
Goodman responded by saying: “So many money questions tonight and comments.. really odd.
“To answer to help the little troll site you’re on…
“We already have something in place through the courts so our children aren’t affected if this were to sadly happen.
“I’m also raising our children to make their own way in life.
“I want them to have that go-getter mentality.
“I think it’s super important.”

However, Goodman went on to say of the financial debate, which involves child support payments and any potential future inheritance:
“Silly if you believe that narrative.
“Doesn’t affect my children’s maintenance whatsoever.
“It’s totally different and has no impact.
“I won’t say too much, but this isn’t the case.”
