Super Eagles and Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman has been ranked 14th in the 2024 Ballon d’Or awards announced Monday, October 29, 2024, in Paris, France.

The 27-year-old forward delivered standout performances that placed him in the global spotlight.

He had an impressive run with the Super Eagles at the 2024 African Cup of Nations, scoring three goals and helping his team secure a silver medal

Ademola Lookman made history by becoming the first player to score a hat-trick in a European club competition final, leading Atalanta to a 3-0 victory over Bayer Leverkusen in the UEFA Europa League final

Lookman’s nomination comes as no surprise after an exceptional year that saw him score 11 goals and provide seven assists in 31 Serie A games for Atalanta.
