Lucas Vazquez was not happy about Real Madrid team-mate Toni Kroos retirement from football, going by the full-back’s response.
34-year-old Kroos made the surprising announcement on Tuesday.
He revealed that his career will come to an end at the end of the season.
Kroos will hope to guide Madrid to another Champions League title and then aim to win Euro 2024 before he hangs up his boots for good.
The midfielder made a joke on social media after his shocking declaration.
He said: “I’m trending at least?”
But his comment sparked a surprising X-rated reply from Real co-star Vazquez, who wrote “F*ck you” along with four middle finger emojis.
Vazquez was not the only one upset by the news of Kroos’ retirement.
Madrid team-mates paid tribute to the legendary Germany international, with Jude Bellingham and Luka Modric making emotional responses, while Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes also spoke out.
