Members of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) have gathered at various locations across Nigeria for the planned two-day nationwide protests.
This protest echoes the frustration of the millions of Nigerians who are suffering the effects of the current hardship.
Via this protest, Nigerians in one voice air their displeasure over the hunger the hardship had brought.
Indeed, a hungry man is an angry man.
The government is fully aware of this, hence, the heavy presence of security personnel in various states of the Federation, as protesters express their frustrations.

This protest trails a meeting between the labour union and representatives of the federal government which ended in a deadlock.

Others are, Minister of Finance, Wale Edun; Minister of Budget and Planning, Atiku Bagudu; Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume.
