The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Thursday morning, stormed the scene of a collapsed storey building in Abuja.
A two storey building housing many business centers collapsed around 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, just hours after Wike resumed office as minister.
Just as if he knew, Wike had vowed to bring down unapproved buildings that may endanger the lives of the public.
Now, many people were reportedly trapped in the building located around Garki II Abuja, with about 37 evacuated this morning.
Wike At The Collapse Scene
Arriving at the scene of the incident this morning, Wike insists structures without approval will go down.
