EPL big four clubs have spent £336 million (€394.2m), in a bid to block loopholes and be prepared for the start of the English Premier League (EPL), season which already kicked off over the weekend.
The clubs which includes Liverpool fc, Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea fc have all gone to the market recruit new players that can add value to their teams

Liverpool during the transfer window spent £95.7 million (€110.8m) to overturn the one-point gap that separated themselves and Manchester City last year, and reclaim the Premier League title.
Jurgen Klopp’s side narrowly missed out on top spot in the English top flight last season, and have jumped into the transfer market in an attempt to climb back to the top of the Premier League and disrupt Man City’s dominance in the division.
Manchester City have also spent £93.3 million (€110.4m) on transfers so far this summer as they look to defend their Premier League crown. Pep Guardiola’s team won the title by a mere point from rivals Liverpool last season, and have taken to the market in order to strengthen their squad.
Manchester United have equally spent £65.5 million (€77m) on transfers so far this summer, as Erik ten Hag prepares for his first season in the Old Trafford dugout.
