Entrepreneur and media personality Sophia Momodu has cautioned fans and content creators against referring to her as the wife of Nigerian music star Davido, stressing that such labels are disrespectful and inaccurate.
In a video currently circulating online, the mother of one clarified that although she shares a child with the singer, their relationship ended many years ago and Davido is now married.
She noted that despite this, some fans still address her as the singer’s wife, a situation she finds inappropriate.
Sophia recounted an encounter with a content creator who hailed her as “Mama Imade, OBO’s wife,” an introduction she said left her shocked.
Sophia Momodu firmly stated that she is not Davido’s wife and urged the public to respect boundaries and personal choices.
According to her, it is important to acknowledge that people move on and deserve peace without being constantly tied to their past relationships.
She added that all parties involved are happy and focused on their individual lives, calling on fans to allow everyone to move on respectfully.
