Doris Ogala : Pastor Chris Okafor Kneels In Church, Seeks Forgiveness

Founder of Grace Nation Bible Ministry, Pastor Chris Okafor, has reportedly apologised publicly following allegations levelled against him by Nollywood actress Doris Ogala.

In a video shared by the actress on Facebook on Sunday, the clergyman was seen kneeling before members of his congregation as he expressed remorse over what he described as mistakes from his past.

This development comes after Doris Ogala accused the pastor of abandoning her for another woman after allegedly promising marriage.

Also, the allegations sparked widespread reactions across social media and religious circles.

While addressing his congregation, Pastor Chris maintained that several of the claims made against him were untrue.

However, he admitted that errors had been made and apologised to anyone who felt hurt by his actions.

“I am not joining issues,” he said, referencing the actress.

“Mistakes have been made in the past, and I tender my apology to everybody. But everything that was said is not true. There are many lies in most of the things that were said.”

Despite disputing aspects of the allegations, the cleric reiterated his readiness to make amends, including offering restitution to any woman he may have offended.

To Doris Ogala, I will apologise, and I also apologise to everyone. I am ready to make restitution to anyone and any lady, anywhere I’ve offended,” he stated.

Pastor Chris also acknowledged his imperfections.

He describing the moment as a turning point influenced by senior Christian leaders he referred to as “fathers of faith.”

He appealed to both his congregation and the public for forgiveness and prayers.

“I’m kneeling down before everyone and before the church. Forgive me. You can judge me. Pray for me,” he added.
