Legendary Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Face or 2Baba, has made a frank public confession about his personal life
The music icon made the revelation in Benin City during the MC EdoPikin Undiluted with StarBoy and Legends show.
He addressed his long-standing reputation for fathering children with multiple women.
Speaking moments before his performance, 2Baba said he felt the need to “set the record straight,”
He insisted that he has turned a new leaf and no longer impregnates women indiscriminately.
“But see, I get confession. I dey make this confession everywhere I go now to set the record straight. I don stop to dey do that kind of thing, I don stop to dey give belle anyhow. I swear, ask anybody now, they will tell you that I’m innocent,” he said.
2Baba’s personal life has often attracted public attention over the years.
His first baby mama, Sumbo Adeoye, shares two sons—Zion and Nino—with the singer.
Their relationship ended around 2009 following reports of his involvement with other women.
His second baby mama, Pero Adeniyi, welcomed three children with him between 2006 and 2012.
The singer was also married to actress Annie Macaulay-Idibia, with whom he shares two daughters.
Their marriage lasted over a decade, officially ended in 2025.
More recently, 2Baba welcomed another child with his new partner, Natasha Osawaru.
This is a relationship that has generated controversy and intense public debate.
The singer’s confession has since sparked mixed reactions online.
