The milestone was highlighted in a post shared by Africa Facts Zone on X (formerly Twitter), which detailed Wizkid’s impressive record of Platinum, Gold, and Diamond certifications across major global music markets.
The achievement further underscores the international reach and enduring appeal of Afrobeats on the world stage.
Among his standout records, Wizkid’s global hit “Essence” has earned 5× Platinum certification in the United States, Platinum in the United Kingdom, and 7× Platinum in South Africa.
Other popular tracks such as “Come Closer” and “Energy” have also recorded significant success internationally.
Wizkid’s influence extends beyond his solo work.
His collaboration with Drake on the chart-topping hit “One Dance” achieved Diamond status in the United States, Canada, and Germany, solidifying his contribution to one of the most successful global songs of all time.
In addition to singles, Wizkid’s albums have recorded remarkable success worldwide.
