Nigerian singer Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, has reacted following the death of a young lady during a stampede at his concert in Kenya.

The incident, which occurred at a festival in Nairobi on December 20, claimed the life of Karen Lojore.
Kenyans took to social media platform X to mourn her and express outrage, blaming her death on alleged poor planning at the venue.
Critics questioned why there was reportedly only one entrance gate, which led to impatient concertgoers rushing in and triggering a stampede.
Reacting via his Instagram Stories, Asake expressed deep sorrow over the tragedy, describing himself as devastated by the incident.
He extended his condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of the deceased, while pledging to support efforts to understand what went wrong.
The singer also stated that those responsible should be held accountable, emphasizying that music has always been his way of spreading love and joy.
He added that it deeply pains him that a life was lost at an event meant to bring happiness.
Asake concluded by offering prayers for the grieving and wishing peace for the deceased, while also expressing solidarity with the people of Kenya.
