Gaise Baba Tops Nigeria’s Most-Watched Music Videos

Gospel sensation Akinade “Gaise Baba” Ibuoye emerged as the biggest musical force on YouTube Nigeria in 2025. His spirit-lifting hit “No Turning Back II”, featuring Lawrence Oyor, didn’t just trend—it became a national anthem of hope.

Released in mid-May, the video amassed over forty-one million views in just six months, securing its position as the most-watched Nigerian music video of the year.

Close behind was Shallipopi’s chart-topping “Laho,” while Davido’s romantic collaboration “With You” featuring Omah Lay also secured a top spot.

Also, the star-studded joint track “Ninety Nine” by Olamide, Seyi Vibez, Asake, Young Jonn, and Daecolm further energised the charts, alongside Asake’s emotional record “Why Love.”

However, Rema’s single “Baby Is It a Crime,” Chella’s viral hit “My Darling,” and Wizkid’s dance-packed “Kese (Dance)” all drew massive viewership.

Rounding off the list were Shallipopi’s “Laho II” featuring Burna Boy and the visualizer version of Davido and Omah Lay’s “With You,”
