BBNaija star Queen Mercy Atang has responded strongly after a follower accused her of ruining her marriage
She claimed that people in the United States allegedly labelled her a prostitute.
The drama began after a fan left an emotional comment under Queen’s post.
She blames her for the collapse of her marriage and lamenting that people who once mocked the union are now using it to attack both the reality star and those who defended her.
The follower claimed they were being taunted by people in the US who allegedly referred to Queen in degrading terms.

In a detailed response, Queen Mercy rubbished the claims and questioned their credibility.
She revealed that her only visit to the United States was in 2017 or 2018 long before she became famous.
According to her, she briefly stayed with her aunt in Houston before travelling to Florida to attend a beauty pageant.
“At that time, I was just a regular pageant contestant with no visibility. I wasn’t even famous then,” she said, wondering how anyone in the US could have recognised her or labelled her a prostitute at that stage of her life.
Queen admitted her family would likely be unhappy that she chose to respond publicly, but said she felt it was necessary to clear the air.
She disclosed that since leaving the Big Brother Naija house, she has been called all sorts of names, with many acting as though she committed a crime on the show.
Despite the backlash, Queen said she remains unapologetic.
She added that if another BBNaija All-Stars season ever arises, she would participate again without fear.

Addressing claims that she got married to spite her child’s father, Queen clarified that she had never posted him on social media at any point.
She explained that when she shared photos from her wedding, it was simply out of genuine excitement
On allegations that she is not fit for marriage because of the roles she plays in movies, the reality star dismissed the claims.
