Kat Graham shared a heart-warming announcement on Monday evening after taking to Instagram to reveal that she is expecting her first child with her husband, Bryant Wood.
The 36-year-old Vampire Diaries alum, who married Wood in 2023, posted a series of striking black-and-white Polaroid photographs showcasing her blossoming baby bump.
In the intimate images, the actress is seen gently holding her belly, lifting a ribbed turtleneck jumper in some shots and revealing a low-cut satin bra in others.
Wood also appeared in the photos, tenderly resting his head on his wife’s stomach and chest.
Captioning the post simply with, ‘We’re having a baby!!! ✨’, Graham’s joyful update quickly captured the attention of fans.
It amasses more than 476,000 likes from her nearly 10 million followers.
The post was set to Rick James’ 1981 classic Give It To Me Baby.
Also, it added a nostalgic touch to the celebratory moment.
Graham later reshared the images on her Instagram Stories with an additional note that read, ‘Baby on board!’
Wood also marked the special moment by uploading a video of the couple dancing together in their kitchen while preparing a Thanksgiving meal.
He wrote, ‘Happy Thanksgiving from the Wood Family! We are having a baby!’—further delighting followers.
Kat Graham and Wood quietly eloped in 2023 before holding a second ceremony in August this year on their two-year anniversary.
Speaking to People magazine in October, the actress explained why they wanted another wedding.
‘We really wanted to have a second wedding because, technically, it was our first wedding,’ she said. ‘When we initially eloped, it was incredibly private — we had someone come to the house and marry us with only our dogs as witnesses.’
Reflecting on their more recent celebration, she added, ‘It was intimate and romantic in its own way, but this time we wanted to celebrate our love surrounded by our family and friends.’
