Pastor Adefarasin Warns Of Rising National Threats, Says He Is ‘Ready For War’ If Nigeria Must Fight

Addressing Nigeria’s escalating insecurity, Paul Adefarasin said the country is facing increasingly complex threats linked to global extremist networks expanding across Africa.

While expressing a strong preference for peace, dialogue, and long-term stability, he insisted that Nigeria must not remain unprepared.

The pastor warned that terrorism in Nigeria is part of a broader international conflict, with the nation serving as a key operational front.

Also, he emphasised that diplomatic talks alone are not enough, Nigeria must build intelligence capacity, develop strategic frameworks, and strengthen its defence systems to counter forces undermining its stability.

Paul Adefarasin also drew attention to targeted attacks and displacement of indigenous communities in the Middle Belt and Northeast.

He described them as coordinated, well-funded operations tied to powerful interests exploiting natural resources for profit.

He said Nigeria’s greatest thinkers, strategists, technocrats, intellectuals, and innovators across all ethnic groups  must unite to draft a national survival blueprint.

Without such unity, he cautioned, the country risks facing a conflict it is ill-prepared to confront.

Speaking on Nigerians in the diaspora, Paul Adefarasin noted that many left due to the nation’s dysfunction but still desire to return, hoping for a secure and prosperous homeland.

Also, he concluded by calling for vigilance, unity, and preparedness.
