Music video director ThankGod Omori, popularly known as TG Omori, has raised alarm over alleged threats to his life following his recent comments on same-sex relationships.

Over the weekend, Omori sparked intense controversy on social media after he described homosexuality as “evil.”
His post on X, which stated, “Having same gender sex is evil,” triggered widespread reactions and criticism.
The filmmaker has now claimed that a publication by Zikoko Magazine has further escalated the situation.
According to him, the outlet accused him of leveraging the controversy to sell his signature glasses, putting him at greater risk.
In a post shared on X while quoting the article, TG Omori alleged that the publication was inciting a global community against him.
He wrote:
“This is a media house trying to set me up and risk my life by gaslighting a global community they serve to blacklist me for speaking my truth in accordance to the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Death threats and wishes have been sent to me day n night, threatening my safety n security as a citizen, since after this article was published by @Zikoko_Mag.”
