Actress Iyabo Ojo has refuted circulating claims that she was arrested by the Nigerian police, describing the reports as completely false.
During a TikTok live session, the actress addressed her fans.

She explains that the viral “wanted” posters shared online were misleading and created solely to drive traffic.
Expressing her disappointment, Iyabo Ojo criticised those spreading the rumours, accusing them of deliberately sharing unverified information for attention and financial gain.
Also, she added that such actions would ultimately have consequences for the perpetrators.
She said:
“To all the people circulating false news about me, nothing good comes from intentionally misleading others. Who was arrested? Every time fake news is published about me, my fans panic and start calling to confirm my wellbeing.
