Nollywood comic actor Olatayo Amokade, popularly known as Ijebu, has appealed to Big Brother Naija Season 10 winner, Imisi, to make peace with her mother and bring an end to their ongoing disagreement on social media.
He shared the message in a video posted on his Instagram page on Sunday evening.
The tension between Imisi and her mother began shortly after she won the ₦150 million BBNaija grand prize.
The situation escalated when her mother released a video saying she felt neglected.
During her time on the reality show, Imisi spoke about her challenging childhood.
She explains how she had faced many difficulties from a young age and how those experiences shaped her life before entering the BBNaija house.
Responding to her mother’s claims, Imisi questioned the timing of the complaints, noting that they had not always enjoyed a close relationship.
“Before I won BBNaija, I was living life quietly, and you would not call for a long time. Why is there a problem now?” she asked.
“God knows I’ve tried. I sent money last week and again a few days ago. I cannot stretch myself beyond my capacity. I have many family members depending on me,” she added on Instagram.
Reacting to the online back-and-forth, Ijebu encouraged her to take the first step towards reconciliation.

“Imisi, I know you are a good girl. The Bible encourages us to honour our parents. This evening or tomorrow morning, please visit your mother, go on your knees, hold her legs, and apologise. Let her pray for you. Whatever may have happened, she is still your mini-god on earth. After this, I do not want to hear any more arguments online. If I do, I will be disappointed,” he stated.
