In a statement issued on Monday, 17 November, the Police provided a clear breakdown of the events that occurred the previous evening, 16 November 2025, at approximately 6:15 p.m.

According to the Command, officers on routine patrol stopped an ash-coloured Toyota Camry with a concealed number plate and fully tinted windows.

As part of protocol, officers approached the vehicle and courteously asked the occupant to identify himself and explain the vehicle’s concealments.

However, the occupant allegedly refused to disclose his identity, made several phone calls, and wound up his windows, declining further communication.

Minutes later, three naval personnel arrived at the scene, calmly identifying the occupant as their colleague.

Also, they recorded the interaction before departing.

Once the officers received official confirmation of his identity, the Police team allowed the vehicle to continue its journey, and the operation proceeded smoothly.
