Nigerian rapper, Zlatan Ibile, has stated that Nigerians have become accustomed to suffering due to the government’s failure to fix the economy.

The “Zanku” crooner made the remark while reacting to UK rapper Dave’s observation about Nigerians spending lavishly in clubs while beggars sit outside.
Speaking during an interview on Madame Joyce’s Show in the UK, Zlatan said, “We are used to it.”
“That’s how it has always been and the government isn’t doing anything about it.”
He added that hardship has become so normalized that citizens no longer expect improvement from their leaders.
Zlatan also noted that some beggars have turned begging into a lifestyle, saying many feel entitled even when they receive money daily.
He advised them to find productive means of livelihood instead of depending solely on handouts.
