Chef and Guinness World Record holder, Hilda Baci, has pledged ₦2 million to organisations supporting survivors of sexual abuse
Also, aiding the legal pursuit of justice for 13-year-old Elizabeth Ochanya Ogbanje, who lost her life in 2018 after years of alleged abuse by her guardians.

Hilda Baci expressed heartbreak over Ochanya’s story.
She describes her as a child who deserved care and safety but was betrayed by those tasked with protecting her.
Also, she stressed the need for more than hashtags, urging funding, accountability, and collective action to protect survivors currently fighting similar battles.
“A 13-year-old girl who should have been safe, loved, and protected was instead failed by the very people meant to guard her,” she wrote, adding that countless girls still live with such trauma and are trying to heal.
The chef announced that the donation will be shared between two credible NGOs, with the public invited to nominate trusted organisations in the comments for review.
“To support that cause, I’m pledging ₦2,000,000 to organisations working with rape and s3xual abuse survivors,” she shared
She urges people to recommend NGOs and also contribute to the ongoing GoFundMe supporting legal efforts.
Hilda Baci also encouraged those unable to donate financially to lend their voices and amplify the campaign.
She emphasised that true honour for Ochanya means taking action.
