Senator Ned Nwoko, Nigerian lawmaker and husband of actress Regina Daniels, has sparked reactions after stating that having only one wife is like standing on one leg.
Speaking on Channels TV with Seun Okinbaloye, the politician is currently facing a marital crisis with his fourth wife, Regina
He defended polygamy, describing it as a more “balanced” and “natural” lifestyle for men.
“Just imagine telling you to stand on one leg — you know how difficult it is,” Ned Nwoko explained.
“But it is much more balanced to stand on two, three, or four. I feel sorry for those with one wife. I don’t have any regrets, and I will do the same thing again.”
His statement comes amid ongoing controversy surrounding his marriage to Regina Daniels.
Also, the actress had earlier been seen in a viral video appearing distressed and accusing the senator of domestic violence
This is an allegation he denied, claiming instead that Regina was battling substance abuse.
In a recent twist, Regina shared photos of herself on the balcony of a new mansion.
This fuels rumours that she may have moved out of their marital home.
The actress captioned the post: “I needed a roof over my head.”
