Reality TV star and billionaire heir, Kiddwaya, has shared his candid thoughts on the challenges of dating women from less privileged backgrounds, highlighting how gratitude often turns into entitlement over time.

In a recent interview, the Big Brother Naija alumnus explained that many women initially express appreciation when introduced to his luxurious lifestyle, but their attitudes tend to shift as the relationship progresses.

At first, they’re thankful, everything feels new and exciting,” Kiddwaya said. “But after a few months, they start comparing themselves to others — wanting the same bags, the same trips — and soon, what was once special becomes expected.”

He noted that this shift in behaviour often changes the relationship dynamic.

The entitlement sets in and sometimes turns into rudeness,” he lamented. “That’s been my biggest issue dating someone from a lower class and bringing them into my lifestyle.”

Despite his experiences, Kiddwaya clarified that he doesn’t judge potential partners by their social class or financial status.

I don’t pick based on background or status,” he said.

“Just be nice, have good energy, and stay grounded. I’m very easy to please when it comes to relationships.”

When asked about the qualities he values most in a woman, Kiddwaya mentioned faith, attitude, and spontaneity.

“You have to believe in God,” he stated firmly. “It doesn’t have to be tied to religion, but there must be a belief in something higher than us.”

He further emphasised the importance of character, especially in how a person treats others.

The way you speak to a waiter or anyone not on your level says everything about you,” he noted. “Respect should never depend on status.”

On spontaneity, Kiddwaya, who describes himself as adventurous, said he loves women who can keep up with his energy.

I could wake up and say, ‘Babe, we’re going to Jamaica tomorrow,’ and I want her to say, ‘Let’s go,’” he added with a laugh.

For Kiddwaya, true love isn’t about wealth or background, but about connection, peace, and mutual respect.

At the end of the day, I just want someone kind, respectful, and full of life,” he said. “Someone who can bring peace into my world and grow with me.”
