Nigerian singer Niniola Apata has addressed rumours suggesting she secretly tied the knot.
Also, she firmly dismisses the claims in a recent interview with Yanga FM, Lagos.
Speculations had spread that the “Maradona” crooner took a step back from the limelight after allegedly getting married in a private ceremony.
However, the 38-year-old singer made it clear that there’s no truth to the reports.
She stated , “I don’t care what anyone says or does about my personal life. I’m not a 12-year-old. I’m grown and can say whatever I want with my full chest. I’m not married.”
When asked about the possibility of a music collaboration with her younger sister, Teni, Niniola explained that such a project would only happen when the timing and conditions are right.

She added that the music industry is a business, stressing that “there’s no family in business.”
