Oct 20: Mr Macaroni Speaks Out on #EndSARS Anniversary

But that night, October 20, 2020, turned into a dark chapter in Nigeria’s history.

Gunshots echoed through the air as peaceful protesters were dispersed by security forces. Lives were lost, futures cut short, and a generation scarred.

On Monday, October 20, 2025, actor and skitmaker Mr Macaroni took to social media to honor the memory of that tragic night. His words cut deep:

“Nigerian Youths lost their lives, jobs, families, and dreams at the hands of the most corrupt and evil people we call leaders!!!

“Even though my people are now in love with their oppressors, this day 20/10/2020 is never to be forgotten nor forgiven!”

His post serves as a reminder that while time moves on, the pain and lessons of that day still live in the hearts of many.

#EndSARS was more than a protest it was a call for a better Nigeria.
